Licensed Facilitator
Karin Calde, PhD is a licensed psilocybin facilitator and psychologist resident with more than two decades of experience in psychotherapy, relationship work and coaching. She has supported adults and couples through anxiety, trauma, relationship difficulties and major life transitions, and she is especially interested in how people heal when insight alone hasn’t been enough.
Her approach is warm, grounded, collaborative and trauma-informed. She draws on clinical psychology, Internal Family Systems (IFS), anxiety treatment, Buddhist psychology and Somatic Experiencing. Karin sees psilocybin as a way to reach parts of ourselves that are hard to access in ordinary states, bringing new awareness to emotions, patterns and possibilities for change.
Karin has a particular interest in adults in midlife and beyond, when questions about identity, relationships, health, purpose and loss become harder to ignore. She helps clients meet what arises with curiosity, deepen their self-compassion and build trust in their own inner experience.
She also brings lived experience with loss, chronic illness, parenting a teen through cancer treatment and rebuilding after unexpected change. Clients describe her as calm, approachable and practical, with compassion and occasional humor that make room for both depth and lightness.
